Skateboard mentoring traineeships

The Concrete Club provide supported training opportunities to upskill young people to deliver mentoring through skate sessions.  As part of this program each mentor is taken through the process of applying for a Working With Children Check, and are fully covered with insurance as skate coaches.

Private classes are available now.. Please get in contact to arrange a time. 

Skate Camp

In December 2021 18 young people joined The Concrete Club on a skating, camping adventure of the South West, exploring skate parks including Manjimup, Albany and The Albany Snake Run, the oldest skate park in the Southern Hemisphere, and Esperance. While in Esperance,  skaters had the opportunity to participate in the Edge of the Bay skate competition hosted by Soggy Bones.

Ramp Building Workshops

In collaboration with the Cowarumaup Mens’ Shed

Run over 5 weeks, young people are provided an opportunity to upskill in building ramps, from planning, measuring, cutting and safety while using power tools.
